Project

Mathematical Modelling to Define a New Design Rationale for Tissue-Engineered Peripheral Nerve Repair Constructs

This project develops mathematical models to understand how chemical and mechanical cues influence angiogenesis in peripheral nerve repair. By combining with in vitro experimental data, we aim to inform the optimal conditions to promote vascularisation in vivo, and to inform new experiments to test these predictions.

We are grateful for funding from the EPSRC for this project.
